Suede is an extremely thin, synthetic bottom cover material that covers the entire interior surface of the orthotic, encapsulating all the posterior, medial and lateral surfaces and extending to the desired length: metatarsals, sulcus or toes. The synthetic nature of this material mimics natural suede’s thinness, flexibility, and attractive appearance but also adds durability, stain protection, odor resistance, and is more water resistant than natural materials.
